HOME Poster Show
Poster designed for a benefit poster show that would help at-risk families stay housed and warm. Brief description: Home — such a simple word that evokes so many images. When looking back on memories of home I discovered its not a particular building or a particular place, but the feelings associated with it. Over the years, I’ve found many places that echo similar feelings. Of course, nothing will ever replace where I initially began. The blue screen is made up of 130 illustrations that personally evoke the memories or ideals of “home.” The over all message is taken from East Coker, a poem from T.S. Eliot’s Four Quartets. In which, Eliot emphasizes the need for a journey. Read more on the blog.
Beauty Mark - Headron Collider
A self promotional poster series that focuses on the idea of brand identification and what we as humans determine as beautiful. A beauty mark sets you apart from the rest in an instant. It makes you more interesting, more attractive, more memorable. Using the logo as beauty mark, these posters subtly express that the work I do, carries the same attributes. Photography, typography, design and layout all done in house.
Beauty Mark - Collateral
Expanding the poster series into a series of cards and shipping envelope.
I thought it would be a good idea to use the packaging as a promotional device.
Stefan G. Bucher - Life, Love & Graphic Design
A promotional poster for an AIGA lecture by Stefan Bucher. Thinking that Bucher is most well known for working in ink, the poster is black and white and uses ink in a Bucher style. Also interpreting his creations as a bit obscure, the poster reflects this by illustrating Bucher as if one of his monsters... or the ink, shooting form his face could be seen as him spreading his words.
